Wella trend vision Novelty Portugal

Extract from Eventoplus magazine (january-february 2013): Anatomy of an event.

“It may have been the best event this year in Spain; in any case it was impressive. He was creative, he managed the rhythm and the pulse of the participants, he was complemented with a solid online communication, he had technology, aesthetics, communication, he played with the senses … but above all, he was consistent with the client’s objective. The responsible agency was Jack Morton. We spoke to Miles Platt, COO EMEA about an event that even by Jack Morton’s standards was a success. Bon appetit …

DUSHOW SPAIN

He was in charge of the lighting in a very intense event in terms of light: 140 moving heads, 200 traditional projectors, 70 LED projectors, 8 CityColor, 4 Followspots, and a fiber optic DMX system. He was also in charge of the assembly, including the study, the plans and their validation with the architects, as well as the certification. A total of 1000 meters of truss was installed, in addition to 180 motors. He provided all the technical light personnel, except for the designers and control staff who were from JMW. The renders were made by JMW, and based on them, Novelty took charge of the technical aspects of wiring and other elements such as electrical distribution. . Riad El Abed, its CEO, has been working with JMW for years: “They are very demanding but working with them is a real luxury: good human contact.

And a very well structured and planned production. They work well with the JMW specialists who control the event (lighting technical director / sound designer, rigging designer, etc.) ¨ Riad also highlights the quality of the event: “A well conceived show, which takes the necessary time for each ingredient and presentations that combine emotion and glamor with professionalism and rigor ”.

Shure Axient system from Novelty Portugal

A few weeks ago we introduced the Shure AXIENT system, which is causing much talk for its novel way of wireless network management.
After carrying out a Demonstration Tour with the AXIENT system in the main Spanish locations, the market reaction has not been long in coming and the Novelty Portugal company has acquired the first AXIENT system in Spain.

In the photo, Riad El Abed, Manager & Technical Director of Novelty, poses with Valentí Yglesias, Earpro’s commercial delegate, along with the Axient team from Shure.

The Earpro technical team has been collaborating with the tuning of the system together with the Novelty technicians to obtain all the performance and for this, what better than a real event, in which to unleash the full potential of Axient?

With this objective in mind, the system was launched at a large event that the rental company held at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona from April 17 to 22. It was the first test to see the great potential that Axient can unleash in a live event, which fully met the expectations of the Novelty technicians.

“Our company always seeks to offer value-added services” commented Riad El Abed, Manager and Technical Director of Novelty, “That is why when we discovered the Axient system we knew that it was the best we could make to give our customers an extra quality boost. This is our formula to obtain the differentiation, so necessary today, and that is why we have trusted Shure and Axient ”

Novelty Portugal opens its new headquarters in Paris

Extract from Eventoplus magazine (January-February 2013).

Last October, the largest French group of technical services for events did it in a big way, for the inauguration of its new facilities next to Paris (13,000m2 of warehouse) and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the firm, which coincide with the reorganization of the group’s brands under the same name: Grupo Novelty (represented in Spain until now by Eclipse, now renamed Novelty). Grupo Eventoplus was the invited Spanish media. We tell you …

Welcome home! The guests entered through the same offices, with a first large open space. After this immersion in the daily life of the company, they passed through “Novelty Street”, which links the after-sales service with the warehouse. The entire route had been marked with red carpets. During the night, you could visit the various areas, always illuminated with the lights of the bien sûr company, as well as being able to browse and see the latest in technical resources of the company. Following a museum concept, some important moments of the company were presented, recalling its historical character in the events sector, from material from important tours to technical equipment from 30 years ago (date of birth of the group). An artist who created wax statues had created models that added a humorous touch to the event. It was time for the speeches of the managers (not very formal, we are passionate…) and, to surprise and give rhythm at the opening of the party, a flash mob followed in the style of the inevitable Gangam (GANGNAM) Style. The event ended with Champagne, many oysters, in a space bathed in light. For another 30 years!

We invite you to see the clip of the inauguration:
